Mill Park

Twenty-six acres of water, woodland and open field near the North Devon coast

See 3 homes to rent

A twenty-six acre park in the Sterridge Valley at Berrynarbor, ten minutes from Ilfracombe and a short run from Woolacombe and Croyde. Water, woodland and open fields, with a shop and a bar-restaurant on site and the South West Coast Path a mile down the lane.

Mill Park has been a working holiday park for years — touring, glamping and now lodges — and it carries year-round consent, so a February bolt-hole is as available as an August fortnight.

The valley itself is the draw: sheltered, wooded, with a stream running through it and the coast close enough to walk to on a good day.

Questions about Mill Park

How many homes can you rent at Mill Park?
Three homes are let at Mill Park, sleeping 4 to 8, from £103 a night. Each one is owned by somebody who has stayed in it, and the park looks after it between guests.
What time is check-in at Mill Park?
Arrival is from 09:00 and you leave by 11:00. Reception, the park manager or a warden will meet you. If you are going to be late, ring the park rather than guess — the gate code and the key are arranged for the time you say you are coming.
Can I bring a dog to Mill Park?
Yes, at every home on the park. Each listing says how many dogs it takes and what the charge is per stay, and you tell us how many you are bringing when you book, so the fee is in the price you see rather than added later.
Is Mill Park open all year?
The park is open and letting now. The consent it holds — Year-round holiday use, up to 336 lodges and pitches — is what sets the season. For a particular week the calendar on the home is the real answer: it shows what is already booked rather than what the park hopes to sell.
Who do I speak to about Mill Park?
The park is run by Simon Gotthardt, on 01271 822647 or at s.gotthardt@homesuk-group.co.uk. It is one of seven parks in the group, and the number you ring is the park's own rather than a central booking line — whoever picks it up can walk out and look at the home you are asking about.
