Marwell Court

A private estate of luxury park bungalows beside Marwell Resort

See 6 homes to rent

Fifty-two acres held quietly between woodland and water in the South Downs National Park, seven miles south of Winchester. One gated entrance, camera coverage, grounds kept on your behalf — and Marwell Resort next door, so the restaurant, the gym and the activities are a walk away rather than a drive.

Every home sits along its own stretch of private drive with its own outlook over lawn, tree line or water. Two spring-fed lakes sit at the centre of the estate with a circular walk around them and fishing by permit.

Marwell Zoo — a 140-acre conservation park drawing over half a million visitors a year — is a mile from the gate. Winchester is seven miles, Southampton twelve, and Lepe Beach on the Solent fifteen.

Questions about Marwell Court

How many homes can you rent at Marwell Court?
Six homes are let at Marwell Court, sleeping 4 to 10, from £132 a night. Each one is owned by somebody who has stayed in it, and the park looks after it between guests.
What time is check-in at Marwell Court?
Arrival is from 16:00 and you leave by 10:00. Reception, the park manager or a warden will meet you. Reception: Monday 9–6, Tuesday to Thursday 9–3, Friday 9–6, Saturday 9–3. Closed Sunday. If you are going to be late, ring the park rather than guess — the gate code and the key are arranged for the time you say you are coming.
Can I bring a dog to Marwell Court?
At five of the six homes here. The listing for each one says so, and says how many dogs it takes and the charge per stay. Filter the search by "Dogs welcome" and you will only be shown the ones that do.
Is Marwell Court open all year?
The park is open and letting now. The consent it holds — 12-month holiday use — is what sets the season. For a particular week the calendar on the home is the real answer: it shows what is already booked rather than what the park hopes to sell.
Who do I speak to about Marwell Court?
The park is run by Emma Soden, on 01962 777547 or at hello@marwellresort.co.uk. It is one of seven parks in the group, and the number you ring is the park's own rather than a central booking line — whoever picks it up can walk out and look at the home you are asking about.
